When conventional methods fall short

Some fouling problems do not respond to conventional hydroblasting. Polymer deposits from HDPE, LDPE, and polypropylene processes bond chemically to tube walls. They harden over time.

They resist high-pressure water jets. And when tubes plug completely, conventional methods have nowhere to go.

Hydrokinetics was built for these problems. Our patented technology has cleaned fully plugged exchangers at HDPE and ethylene facilities where five previous contractors failed. At one major Gulf Coast facility, we cleaned 4,700 tubes in under 3 shifts against a proposed 13-shift scope. If your exchanger has been declared uncleanable, call before you order a replacement.

Utilizing sonic-wave technology, Hydrokinetics is by far the safest foulant-removal method available on the market. With more than 20 years and thousands of man-hours, we’ve never had a lost-time accident.

The process is isolated from the technician and operated remotely, inducing a frequency vibration through the blockage. No harsh chemicals or high-pressure streams of water—good for both employees and equipment. Hydrokinetics is also ideal cleaning tubes where sparks pose a risk.

A significantly minimized amount of wastewater and fouling material is extruded at the opposite end of the pipeline or tube into a containment basin, far away from technicians and workers.
